BRAND NEW Selmer 72KBSTD Paris Kookaburra Reference Alto Saxophone SERIAL # N697696 Proposed in a gold lacquer finish, the Selmer Paris Kookaburra model 72KBLTD alto's engraving is a variation from the original Kookaburra. Available in the same conditions as the series model, this limited edition is available with a light "Kookaburra" case and specific accessories. This is an ideal model for the discriminating jazz player who wants uncompromising quality in a Paris saxophone. The bore is specific to the Reference Alto. The acoustic tube is made of a particular body/bow/bell assembly. The neck features an original design; a different angle and bore ensure great playing flexibility and a natural position. Atop that, it's got special "Kookaburra" engraving. The keywork is compact and ensures excellent playing comfort, without contraction: left- and right-hand little fingers, high-register keys, right hand spatulas, F sharp mother-of-pearl. The double F key is fitted with mother-of-pearl. The leather pads feature a plastic booster which contributes to the roundness of sound, and the right hand multi-directional metal thumb rest affords well-balanced handling. The "Super Session" Alto saxophone mouthpiece, from Selmer Paris, is supplied with the Reference Alto. A hand finished hard rubber mouthpiece, it's especially designed for Jazz players looking for power, projection, and flexibility without aggressiveness. The "Kookaburra" Light case, leather like, ensures excellent protection of the instrument.
