THIS INSTRUMENT IS HAND CARVED, AND IS METICULOUSLY HAND CARVED FROM SOLID SPRUCE AND MAPLE. THEN THE BACK AND SIDES ARE PAINSTAKINGLY GRADUATED TO THE PERFECT THICKNESS TO GIVE YOU A VIOLIN WITH SUPERB TONAL PROPERTIES. THE VIOLIN IS THEN FINISHED IN A BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN BROWN VARNISH. ONLY SOUTH AFRICAN EBONY FOR THE FITTINGS TO ENSURE THAT THE FINGERBOARD IS STRAIGHT AND THE PEGS ARE EASY TO TURN. THE BOW IS BRAZILWOOD WITH MONGOLIAN HORSEHAIR.
