Used

silverplated and gold lacquered dc pro series super 20style large bell tenor sax with high f# key. Gold lacquered body and keys With annealed neck and bell Silverplated neck and bell

Styled after the legendary king super 20. Has rich gold lacquer body with silverplated and annealed bell and neck

Has double bracing on the low b and low c keys for extra stability and ease of playing the low notes.

This is called the large bell because the bell is 6 1/4 inches As opposed to the standard tenor sax bell of 5 7/8-inches.

Because the bell is 6 1/4-inches-it has an increased diameter which enhances the lower range of the instrument and only the dc pro series ii large bell limited edition saxophones have the large bell.

Used for only 3 years it Has excellent intonation and response, extra wide bow for full sound and easy emission of low notes, high f# key.

Comes complete with hard shell case, mouthpiece, cap, and ligature.

Features: *comfortable key inlays made of imitation mother of pearl * high quality leather pads with metal resonators, thumb rest, adjustable to left and right * easy to play mechanism for the left and right little finger.

Looks and sounds fantastic.

Excellent quality. Has extra bracing, rugged key guards, superior springs for better key action, bow support for added protection.

I am a music dealer and repairman. I have been playing sax since 1952. I have designed this sax myself and recommend it for anyone looking for a high quality sax at a very low price.

All instruments are shop tested and adjusted to play perfectly before shipment.

Any instrument can be returned for full value as a trade in or on consignment for resale provided it is in the original condition.

it makes good sense to buy from people who service what they sell.

We service everything that we sell.

Please call me at (978) 745-5255 if you have any questions.

I have been playing the sax professionally for 35 years. My most memorable gig was for former president clinton at a fund raiser for senator kennedy in boston with the john payne saxophone choir. I have been repairing saxophones for almost 23 years. When i played this sax, i could not put it down. I like it better than any selmer that i have ever played, including the mark vi. It has a huge sound, a more even timbre, the altissimo and subtones are very easy to sound, and yet the tone is warm and full bodied. It is a combination between the projection and brilliance of a mark vi sound and the fullness and body of a king super 20 with the smooth action of the super action 80.

Many people ask me, why is the price so low? how can it be such good quality with such a low price? even other people in the music business tell me to raise the price so people will not think it is poor quality. The reason the price is so low is because i arranged with the factory to buy five hundred instruments at a time and pay cash for them. The factory gives me a low price and i pass that savings on to my customers. Dc pro series ii is engaged in one ongoing pursuit -- perfecting the saxophone. By focusing its attention on each individual part and on the distinctive systems of each instrument, it strives to expand the instruments tonal range, perfect its intonation and refine its ergonomics. Improvements come from melding cutting-edge technology and old-fashioned craftsmanship, while integrating the players participation as a vital link in the design process.

The neck and bell are both silver plated to enhance the sound making it a very rich, sweet, mellow tone.

The neck and bell are also annealed to improve the sound even more because the annealing process takes out the impurities in the brass, also takes out the internal stress of the metal and tempers it.

This process of annealing the metal makes the horn resonate much more freely, because it takes out the internal stress of the metal and it tempers it making it stronger.

The process consists of heating the metal and cooling it down very slowly.

The result is a more distinctive and crisper sound which helps from the low subtones to the high altissimo register.

Dc pro is my own brand
that I designed myself
and had made for me,
with my specs..
I learned flute making
while working for
William S. Haynes flute company
in Boston.

They make flutes that start at $8,500.00

My job was to solder the tone holes on these flutes...

Which was a very critical job
and had to be perfect
to assure perfect intonation.

I was very fortunate
to have first hand experience in flute making
while working there.

So I decided to make my own flutes,
saxophones, clarinets, trumpets,
french horns and trombones.
